The Prized Peony Suite is one of my favorite stamp sets in this new catalog....and I think about a million other people feel the same. I have seen so many cards which helped me create this card.....It's one we'll be doing this month at class... Remember August 9, 15 or 16...Let me know.

Class Schedule Update and the Bingo Number

I think I goofed on the class schedule. 

Here are the dates for August. 

Sunday, August 9th 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday, August 15th, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sunday, August 16th, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Today Was Spent Doing This......and Sure Enough Bingo Popped Into My Head Too!

Friday....and the weekend is coming....and another Bingo Number is HERE!

Have you ever had an air conditioner ghazi's looked like this? Well we're so lucky.....we're learning the facts of over heating.

1. Panting for dogs is a good thing. Panting for people, not so much.

2. Using a small room fan.....Don't waste your money on one. Does NOTHING.

3. Working as many hours as possible at Children's Hospital is a good thing.

And that's my analysis of a Broken Air Conditioner. But we only have 6 more days....July 29th will be our lucky day....I hope.

This is the zPoinsettia Petals Suite that will be available on August 4th. I promise I won't be tired of it then and we'll probably do a card using this suite in September. 

Again, no information on how to create this card until August 4th, but I wanted you to see what fun I've had today.

I used the same die instead of the small, medium and large. I'm gonna try that next time.

Oh my Goodness. Look what we planted in our yard today!

It's  so beautiful and it's coming back every year. Ric went to the store to buy a blade for the Lawn Edger and came back with this plant. I think he did pretty good. 

And before all this got done.....My beautiful walk at Sand Creek made my day start out just right.

I think the bird in this picture is a Snowy White Egret. Plus there was a Goose beside him.

The leaves are changing in this tree already. July 15th, Wow. I'm so Exited!

The walk was exactly what I needed. It's so sad in our world right now, but as always, God's Beauty is right there making me happy.

There will be more information on this card come August 4th when the August-December Mini Catalog goes live. It was fun making this card especially since it was kind of cool today. I know last winter I said I would not complain about the heat....I take that statement back....Give me Fall/Winter any time.

Talking Tuesday and Another Bingo Number

Let's Talk about one of the really cool suites coming in the August-December Mini Catalog. 3 little punches and some really cute little leaves and acorns and beautiful words. I started this card and although it's not quite done, I had to show it to you. I'm not sure if it will look like this when it's done, but it's a start for one of the cards for next month. As you can see, it's sitting on my table and so the background isn't the best, but I promise tomorrow it will be done and I'll show you the finished project.

Let's create

 5 cards using one piece of 6x6 Designer Series Paper. 

These cards are for the Beginner Stamper and can be enhanced to give the 

Casual and Avid Stamped a little of a challenge.

Cutting Instructions 

The sizes you will have are

• 2 Pieces Designer Series Paper - 1 1/2" x 4" (2 pieces of coordinating card stock 1 3/4" x 4 1/4")
• 1 Piece Designer Series Paper - 3" x 4" (1 piece of coordinating card stock 3 1/4" x 4 1/4")
• 1 Piece Designer Series Paper - 3/4" x 5 1/2" (1 piece of coordinating card stock 1" x 5 1/2")
• 1 Piece Designer Series Paper  1 1/4" x 5 1/2" (1 piece of coordinating card stock 1 1/2" x 5 1/2")

You'll have a scrap piece 2" x 1/2: that will not be used.

The Card base is card stock of your choice  5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" 

Choose the messages of your choice and you can use any punch that will coordinate with the messages you have chosen.

Add some Embellishments and your beautiful yet very simple cards are done.

1. Thick Whisper White Card Stock  5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scoped at 4 1/4" 

2. Pool Party Card Stock 3 5/8" x 5 1/8"

3. Smoky Slate Card Stock 3 3/4" x 5" and 1 3/4" x 4" 

4. With Versamark ink, stamp the word Always on the upper left side of the larger piece of 

    Smoky Slate Card Stock and then sprinkle with the White Embossing Powder and heat 

    set with the Heat Tool.  Then stamp the grass image on the smaller piece of Smoky Slate with the 

    Versamark ink, sprinkle with the White Embossing Powder and again heat set with the Heat Tool. 

    Using a scrap piece of Smoky Slate Card Stock, Stamp the Thinking of You sentiment 

    (or whichever one you choose) with the Versamark, sprinkle with White Embossing Powder,

    heat set and then punch this out using the Classic Label Punch. 

5, Using the Confetti Flowers Border Punch, punch out some flowers using the Petal Pink Card Stock 

     and the Pool Party Card Stock and attach these to the image with the Fine Tip Glue. 

     Then add the Rhinestone Basic Jewels. You can also add some of the Rhinestones to the ... after the

     word Always.

6. Using the New Stampin Seal Adhesive, attach the Pool Party Card Stock to the Thick Whisper 

    White Card Base. Then using Stampin' Dimensionals, attach the larger piece of Smoky Slate 

    Card Stock to the Pool Party and also attach the smaller piece of Smoky Slate to the 

     Larger Smoke Slate Card Stock again with Dimensionals. Attach the smaller sentiment above 

     the flowers using the Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
