How Beautiful is this Sunday...when we open our eyes to the beauty of God's creating....it is magnificent.

 Yesterday morning at my Beautiful Sand Creek, I saw this magnificent animal. He stood so still, I thought maybe he wasn't real, just a statue, but then he did move. I hope I see him on my walk today because he brings so much beauty to our world.

Wiley's World Wednesday

 

Hi everybody, it's me Wiley the Wonder Dog M.D. 

Do you see this raging river? Well I'm getting really brave and jumping across it. The other day, I even got my paws a little wet and I wasn't afraid. When mom, dad and I walked at Sand Creek the other day we were so sad because of the fire there. I just don't know what the baby bunnies are gonna do. They need that grass to hide and eat, but oh no, some crazy person burned it. Probably by accident, but come on people, we have got to be careful. I know I showed you this picture the other day, but it doesn't hurt to show it again.

Because if we are not careful, this is what can happen to places like my mom's beautiful Sand Creek.

And this is only one of the pictures that mom took. It's so sad. 

But guess what else is happening in my world. I've been studying fires and I think I'm gonna become a Fireman. So my new title will be Wiley the Wonder Dog M.D. Fireman. I can't wait to get my fireman's hat, but wait, mom is telling me I have to wear a really heavy and hot jackets, and  I have to be able to carry 100 plus pounds. And stairs, they have to run up flights and flights of stairs. I can barely get up one step to get in the house from the back yard. And you know what else? They have to slide down this pole to get to the fire truck. Maybe I'll re-think this whole fireman occupation. I'll get back to you....but mostly, I think they are really brave men and women and I hope they know how much I appreciate all they do for me. Cause you want to know something, that picture showing where the fire was, that was my favorite peeing spot. And who wants to pee on smelly burned grass, not me. 

I love having my very own blogging day. I get to tell you so many interesting facts about life and mom can't stop me, you see she's watching the Rockies Baseball game and doesn't know what I'm doing. 

Also, if some of you are having problems sleeping because of the heat, I find it's cooler under the bed. You might want to give that a try and let me know how it's working for you. I do get in bed around 2 or 3 in the morning after the room has cooled off a little bit. Makes for a much better night of sleep.

Well it's getting that time.....I gotta go get cool.

Tuesday Technique

 Let's Do A

Baby Wipes Technique

Items you will need

·      Baby Wipes

·      Two or Three Dye Re-Inkers

·      Craft Sheet or paper plate

·      Solid Stamp

·      Neutral Cardstock

 

 

Step by Step

Step 1.

Fold the baby wipe in half, and then fold in half again (quartered). Place the baby wipe on a craft sheet or paper plate.

Step 2

Starting with the darkest color of re-inker, start adding drops of it on the baby wipe.

With the second re-inker, add more drops to the wipe.

With the lightest colored re-inker, fill in all the white spaces you have left on the baby wipe.

I used 4 because I felt autumn needed all these colors, you can choose whatever color you want to reflect your feeling of autumn.

Step 3 

Ink up the stamp using this makeshift inkpad.  

Step 4

Stamp the image on the cardstock

Step 5

Finish your project.

Here is the project I did. Keeping it simple to make sure the technique is the spotlight.

Wednesday and Still Looking for a Bingo Winner

 Wednesday"s is Wiley's World

Hi Everybody it's me Wiley the Wonder Dog M.D. 

I am so excited, mom gave me my own day. You know Wednesday's child is full of Grace and that's me. Grace and Garbage...but that's only if I"m lucky and fine something on the sidewalk. You know mom has been really busy lately and on mom's YouTube church, Pastor Barb said to be still and some a little time each day with God. I think that's why mom gave me Wednesday. She needs a little quiet time. So, I have to tell you all the stuff I did today. 

1st. My August Paper Pumpkin Came today. I'm gonna put it together when mom can help me. It's more fun when 2 or more people do things together.

The second thing on the agenda for today is to show you some cute little candy holders I made today....while mom was in her quiet space. 

I made them using the cute stamp set and dies on page 70 of the August-December Mini Catalog. It's called Little Treat Bundle Item #155204 for only $53.00. Also, please don't tell mom about this. I did have a little trouble and she might have to buy some new ink pads and maybe one of those new Stampin' Up! Cut and Emboss Machines Item # 149653 for only $120.00. I'll let you know if I need to come visit somebody until mom cools down.

And just in case she doesn't, I can for an extended time and I am a very good watch dog. Although something ate part of mom' flowers and she's a little upset about that too.
