Monday Movies -Hand Drawn Bloom - Artistry Blooms Suite

WOW look at all the vibrant colors in this ARTISTRY BLOOMS SUITE that is in Stampin’ Up!’s Annual Catalog! The hand drawn cling stamp set with curved sentiments was designed to be stamped across the banner. The beautiful large bouquet die can be layered on top of the stamp bouquet or used on its own. Also, the banner can be snipped away from the floral image to be used by itself. Vibrantly beautiful Designer Series Paper (DSP) and Rainbow Glitter Paper makes beautiful options and gradients. This paper can is very versatile, leaves can be cut from the green, strips can be cut out, and small flowers can be cut from the yellow or pink, all creating endless possibilities.

Technique Thursday

Basic Heat Embossing Technique

Items You Will Need.

These instructions are for Basic Heat Embossing,

Items you will need

• Stamp Set - Field of Flowers - #152589 - $17.00
• Card Stock -Whisper White Card Stock 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" 
• Card Stock - Petal Pink - ##146985 - $8.75
• Versa Mark - #102283 - $9.50
• Embossing Powder - #109129 - $6.00
• Heat Tool - #129053 - $30.00

1. With Versa Mark Ink, Stamp the image on a piece of Whisper White Card Stock.

    The stamped image will will appear to look like a watermark on the card stock.

2. Sprinkle the stamped image with Embossing Powder This images is embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. Tap the image to remove any excess powder. 

3, Hold the Heat Tool about 1 1/2" to 2" from the paper to melt the embossing powder. Slowly move the Heat Tool to keep from scorching the paper. When the embossing powder is melted it will have a glossy look and not a dull look.  

4. The image is now ready to add some flowers and create the card.

Petal Pink Card Stock (#146985 - $8.75 (24 sheets)) 4" x 5 1/4" dry emboss this piece with the Dainty Diamond 3D Embossing Folder  (#152702 - $9.00) and then attach to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430 $4.00) 

Whisper White Card Stock #100730 -$9.75 (40 sheets) 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" On this sheet stamp the message with Versamark (#102283 $9.50) and emboss with Gold Embossing Powder, (#109129 $6.00) heat to melt the embossing powder with the Stampin' Heat Tool (#129053 $30.00)

Stamp the Flowers from the Field of Flowers stamp set (#152589 $17.00)with Petal Pink Classic Ink

( #147108 - $7.50) and stamp the leaves with Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink (#147104 - $7.50.) Attach this piece with Stampin' Dimensional's to the left side of the Petal Pink Embossed Card Stock. On a scrap piece of Whisper White Card Stock, stamp a sentiment to go with the embossed sentiment, Punch this word out with the Classic Label Punch (#141491 $18.00). Attach this piece to the bottom right side of the stamped image sheet with a Multi-Purpose Glue (#110755 - $4.00) on the left side and a Mini Dimensional (# 144108 - $4.00) on the right. Add some Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#151193 - $6.00) randomly on the Whisper White piece.  . Then attach this finished piece to the Petal Pink Card Stock with Stampin' Dimensionals. Add the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon (#146912 $7.50) to he left side of the Petal Pink. 

Your card is finished and BEAUTIFUL.

Directions

    This card is so simple.....here we go.

1. Card base is Petal Pink Card Stock 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2"
2. Early Espresso Card Stock  3 7/8" x 5 1/8"  adhere to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.
3. In Good Taste Designer Series Paper - 3 3/4" x 5: adhere to the Early Espresso Card Stock with Stampin' Seal.
4. On a piece of Early Espresso Card Stock, die cut this piece using the die from the Ornate Layers Die. 
5. On a piece of scrap Whisper White Card Stock, stamp the goal with Early Espresso Ink. Color the Goat the goats ear and eyes with the light and dark Petal Pink Stampin' Blends. then with Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends, both the light and dark color the Goat. Stamp the grass patch under the goat using the Mint Macaroon Ink. Stamp the sentiment with Early Espresso Ink. Stamp the small flower in the Ornate Style Stamp Set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, then color the flower with Petal Pink Stampin' Blends and Mint Macaroon Stampin' Blends
6.  Then attach this Whisper White Stamped Image to the Early Espresso Ornate Layer piece. Add the flowers to the top using Stamping' Dimensional.

How about an Oldie but a Goodie?

I remember creating this card and thinking how relaxing stamping is for me. I could sit at my desk for hours and hours, but I do have miles that need to be walked....you know, 21 miles a week, 3 miles a day. Doesn't seem like much but when I'm stamping I don't want to move and when it's 90 plus degrees outside, that doesn't help either. But Let's see the card.

How can we forget the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set?

Directions:

1. Card base Petal Pink Card Stock 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2"
2. On a piece of Whisper White Card Stock  - 4" x 5 1/4" die cut the bottom using the die from the Magnolia Memory Die. Then stamp a sentiment from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set to the bottom of this piece.
3. On a 2" x 4 Piece of Designer Series Paper, cut the scalloped border that was used to die cut the Whisper White and attach this to the whisper white piece as shown in the picture with the new Stampin' Seal adhesive
4. On a scrap piece of Whisper White, stamp the flower image from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set and color using Petal Pink Stampin' Blends and the Old Olive Stampin' Blends then using the appropriate die from the Magnolia Memory Die, die cut the flower. 
5. On a scrap piece of Petal Pink, cut the circle with one of the dies from the Stitched Shapes Dies. then attach the flower image with a dimensional to this piece. Add a few Champagne Rhinestones around the flower. Then attach this piece to the Designer Series Section right hand side with Stampin' Seal.
6. With a piece of the Organdy Striped Ribbon 5" long, attach each end to the back of the Whisper White Card Stock using Mini Glue Dots. With a piece of ribbon 3" long tie this to the piece of ribbon on the card. 
7. Then attach the card front to the card base with the Stampin' Dimensional's.

How's that for a wonderful  card memory.

Blossoms in Bloom and Flowers In My Garden ----A Beautiful Day

My First Flower is a Climbing Rose I just planted about a month ago. I am so please with its beauty. 

This second picture is al my roses except my climbing rose. I'm worried about my Long Stem Red Rose. I had to transplant it because of an elm tree growing around the base. Now I'm praying it will be okay. 

This rose busy is now my biggest, it has rose buds everywhere. Can't wait to see them all blooming. 

This next picture I a beautiful rose with a white center. It makes me smile every time I bend down to smell her sweet fragrance.

My Long Stem Red Rose....If this is her last bloom, I might be okay, because this is a beautiful rose. 

This rose is brand new too. She came to me with no leaves and she's catching up to her neighbors. I can't wait to see her blooms. 

This flower was given to me by Joanie Crandall when my mom passed away in 2009. I now get to always remember my mom and a very dear lady. 

This picture is one of my new Rose Bushes I love the color. Can't wait for it to grow up. 

This next picture I call my Pentecost Flowers. Red and Yellow flowers. There are 3 of them hanging on the fence. 

My walk from the back door to the fence. This walk makes me happy even though it's a little short.

And once it started getting hot, I came inside and made more flowers.

Directions

Card Base Seaside Spray 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" 

Whisper White Card Stock 4" x 5 1/4" 

Stamp the image on the whisper white card stock (flowers with Seaside Spray) (smaller flowers 

Bumble Bee) (Leaves Old Olive) Real red in the center of the large flowers. You can also add to the smaller flowers. 

On a scrap piece of Seaside Spray Card Stock, stamp the sentiment from the Blossom in Bloom Stamp Set. Die Cut the sentiment Using the appropriate die from the Tasteful Labels dies.

Wrap the ribbon around the card twice and using a glue dot to attach it to the back. 

Add Dimensions to the sentiment and place it on top of the ribbon. 

Add the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to each side of the sentiment.

And your card is finished. Perfect.

Tasteful Touches and a few other Bundles for this card

Here is the Birthday Card I created using the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set with a little help from Forever Fern Bundle and the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set. 

Here's what I did.

The card base is Thick Whisper White Card scored at 4 1/4". Then take a piece of Whisper White Card Stock 4" x 5 1/4"  embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder and attach to the card base.

Using the Ornate Layers Dies, die cut the frame and stamp the sentiment to the right of this piece.

Stamp the flower from Tasteful Touches with Petal Pink and the leaves from Forever Fern in Old Olive, then die cut out. Attach them to the left of the Die frame and attach this entire piece with dimensional onto the card front.

I added a few Champagne Rhinestones near the flowers and leaves.
