Wiley's World Wednesday

 Well hi everybody

It's me Wiley the Wonder Dog M.D., Detective. I'm so happy I get to talk to you today, There is so much happening at my house, Mom is working on cards for this weekend and yes I am helping her because sometimes that woman doesn't know what she's doing. Dad is cleaning out the garage which believe me it needed it. He put up some light chains so mom can turn on the lights now. She's very happy.

And you know what else, we are totally enjoying the cooler weather. It's so nice to walk in the morning because it's not so hot.....mom can walk further and that means I get to sit in my stroller and look at the beautiful fall scenery at her Beautiful Sand Creek. But I have to tell you, it's not really a stroller, It's my Go-Kart.....and it just so happens, mom is the engine. Sometimes she seems to slow down a little bit like she needs more gas.

I'm going to show you some pictures that mom took, but understand, I had to tell her when to take a picture because she just doesn't know, you have to see where the sun is and make sure everything is perfect. So with that said, here are some pictures we took. Actually all she did is push the button and I said now, now, push the button now.

Don't you think this looks like a Go-Kart? All I need is a steering wheel and then my Engine Mom would have to go where I wanted to go.....she goes the same way day after day after day. And I need variety in my life.
Well, guess what mom got....a really cute Bird House....It looks like a Yellow Cardinal,...it's so cute but right now the little bird house is trying to be invaded by those crazy Squirrels. They make me so mad. If they do anything  to that Bird House, I'm gonna kick their toboggan.
Here is the picture of the Birdhouse. Let me know what you think okay.

This is another one of those pictures that mom took. She took it through the Window and you can see the screen which makes it hard to see the Squirrel.

Another Fun Friday

This could almost be Wiley the Wonder Dog M.D., Detective

My Fun Friday Blog starts with our beautiful walk at Sand Creek this morning. It was a short walk, so no stroller today.

See the little creek. Our very brave Wiley the Wonder Dog M.D., Detective jumps over it and doesn't get too scared when his paws get wet.

Once across the street, he loves to smell the Sunflowers. It took us about 5 minutes to decide there were no drugs around those little flowers.'

As we move a little further, we must smell another dog and if so, why were they in his park?

Well we only walked about half a mile and then headed home. It was the perfect walk for the Monster.

Wiley's World Wednesday

Hi Everybody

It's me Wiley the Wonder Dog M.D. and I'm so excited, mom gave me control of the keyboard. And thank goodness because I have so much to tell you. First of all, you probably all know that last Saturday, mom and Donna and Karen went for a walk at Sand Creek. What you probably don't know is I didn't get to go. Know why? Mom says I take too long smelling the flowers. Well I have told everybody before, I'm really smelling for Marijuana. If that stuff is growing illegally, I need to alert the authorities. You might not know it, but I was asked to be a Service Dog....I applied to the Aurora Police Department and was ready to go into training and they told me there would be lots of loud noises from guns and other scary devices. Well you all know how I feel about loud noises, so I said no thank you, but I do think I can serve my country by being an Under Cover Dog. a service dog is much good hiding under the bed. But Now I think I could be an Under-Cover Dog, so I think my new title will be Wiley the Wonder Dog M.D.-Detective. Now I think that sounds nice. I wonder what my first under cover job will be....probably looking for a Kleenex that mom tucked under her pillow. Needless to say, I found that Kleenex and chewed it to shreds. No Kleenex is going to get away from me. But back to walking, here is a picture of my new best friend. Stuart the Stroller. Mom was so nice to bring it with us today for our walk. You know a little boy dog's toes can get tired and sometimes the sidewalk is hot. If I had known she had this stroller down stairs all this time, I could have gone on a walk with her and Donna and Karen. I will never let her leave me at home again. I'm demanding all walks all the time.

Well, now I have to get down to business. Remember that card mom was working on on Monday night for the Tuesday Technique? And do you remember that mess she had all over the table? Well she did finish the card last night and here is the completed project.

This was the outside and she pretty much had it done. Notice how the one reindeer has a Red Nose? I'm told that's Rudolph. He looks like my kind of Reindeer. Just a side note, do you remember when mom went to Norway and they served her Reindeer and she didn't eat it? I'm so happy she didn't, I think Reindeer are really cute and I love them. I'm so proud of mom. I think she ate Mash Potatoes for dinner that night, I wonder if she was really hungry later.

This is the inside of the card where mom shows the rest of the Reindeer.

I think mom is going to design a card like this for one of the October Class Cards. I'll let you know if I find anything out.

Tuesday Technique - And Don't Forget the 15% Sale on Specific Stamp Sets Starts Tomorrow.

Let's Talk Technique Tuesday.

This card is called the W Fold Card. I will show you the card I'm working on and tomorrow show you the finished product. I'm not quite satisfied with the inside, but let's get started.

Here is the card front.

Here is the inside of the card and why it's called a W fold or an M Fold depending on which way you're looking at it.

And here are all the pieces I'm trying to fit on all those little sections. This is not easy, believe me.

There are reindeer and made in the North Pole sign and lots of other pieces and they're not quite coming together yet, but I promise Wiley will have a completed picture tomorrow on Wednesday with Wiley

Here is how I created this card. First I have to thank Lisa Curcio for her great samples and tutorial

Here are the instructions for the one I'm creating.

1. Whisper White Thick Card stock 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2* - this is your card base.

2. Whisper White Thick Card Stock 1 3/4" x 11" scored at 2 3/4", 5 1/2", 8 1/4" this is the W fold on the inside of the card

3. Card Front Design Basic Black Card Stock 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" adhere to card front with Stampin' Seal. Then attach a piece of Wonder of the Season Designer Series Paper 3 3/4" x 5" and attach it to the Basic Black with Stampin' Seal.

4. Attach a piece of Basic Black Card Stock 1 3/8" x 5" then cut a piece of Whisper White Card Stock 4 7/8 x 1 1/4"  and stamp the sentiment on the right side of this piece. Attach to the Basic Black Card Stock with Stampin' Seal.

5. Die cut the Reindeer (could ge a Deer) with Gold Foil Paper and attach to the left side next to the sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals.

6. On the inside. Cut 2 pieces of Basic Black Card Stock 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" and attach to each side of the inside. Then using Whatever Designer Series Paper you want from the Wonder of the Season Designer Series Paper, cut 2  3 3/4" x 5" and adhere to the Basic Black using Stampin' Seal.

7. Fold the 1 3/4" x 11" in half and then fold the other folds, The mountain fold will be in the center and the valley fold with be attached to each side off the card using Stampin' Seal.

8. And as you know....I haven't decorated each section but Wiley will show it to you tomorrow. Plus he will have all the material because w'ell know what all you'll need, Hope you like this card. I think we'll use this W Fold for one of our cards in our October Class.

Hi Everybody

No movie today....I think we've seen all the Stampin' Up! Videos that are currently available and they're having problems making new ones because of this petty virus we're experiencing.

But let's talk about a special class I'll be doing on October 24th & 25th.

More Detail about time and price will be coming soon, but here is what we'll be doing...
