Cherish the Season Stamp Set

 I worked on this card today for a Zoom class I'm doing in November. I really like how it turned out.

Wiley's World Wednesday

Hello everybody

It's me Wiley the Wonder Dog M.D., Detective and Snake Hunter.

Well it's finally warming up outside and I'm a little happy. Mom and I went for a walk yesterday and believe me 40 degrees felt really good. Then mom and dad has to get bird seed for out little birds. And you know what, we even have a big bird. Not like on Sesame Street, but a big bird compared to our little regular birds. Here is a picture of him/her. Mom says it's a Woodpecker and she and dad bought that silly bird some special food. I hope he gets to ear some of it before the Squirrels find it. And you know what else, mom had to clean out the bird bath....the water was mostly frozen and there was a little poop in it. Now it's nice and clean and mom made it a little warm. I'm sure by this morning, it will be frozen again, but at lease it's clean. 

 Mom and I went for a walk yesterday morning and when we got home, mom started making Doves. She's not sure what she's gonna do with them yet, but don't worry, I'll help her figure something out.

You know I'm so happy I have a nice warm home to be in when it's so cold outside.  Well everybody body Mom and I have lots of work to do today, so we gotta get going. Technique Tuesday.....This is really a last minute candy holder...but it's really cute.

 

Celebration Labels

• Choose The Card Stock and Designer Series Paper of your choice and using the Celebration Labels Dies, cut the card stock using the 3rd largest die and the Designer Series Paper using the 4th largest die.
• Score the largest Die piece 1/2" from the center of the piece on each side. Fold this to give you the base of your candy holder. 
• On the Designer Series Paper die piece, run a piece of Tear and Tape down the center and along the top so you can adhere to the Card Stock.
• Punch 2 holes side by side on the top and run coordinating ribbon and tie a bow. 
• Stamp a message and adhere to the ribbon and then die cut bells or the image of your choice.  Adhere this to the front of the candy holder with Multi Purpose Glue and/or dimensional.

This is a real quick set of instructions, but I"ll have more tomorrow when I create more.

Here is a list of the products I used to create this candy holder. I did not include the sentiment or stamped/die images because you can use anything.....Even Fall Candy Holders to place around the table or use them for little Name Tags for your guest. The possibilities are endless.

Friday Fun Day

 Boy what a fun day Ric and I had. Eye appts. then we mostly stayed home and warm....Even Wiley was a little cold.

But I did work on my Advent Calendar and here is what I have so far. No Numbers yet, but I think I'm gonna do a tag attached to the ribbon. 

Oh my goodness, I wonder what the last ones will look like. I have so many little dies and stamped 

images on my table to see if they can be part of my Advent Calendar.

Wiley's World Wednesday

 Hi Everybody

It's me Wiley the Wonder Dog M.D., Detective and Snake Hunter.

Well today mom and I went for our walk at our Beautiful Sand Creek. And guess what we saw. A big Cottonwood Tree had fallen down. I think the terrible winds we've had lately made it fall down. The inside was hollow so you know it wasn't very strong. Sort of like old people (but not my mom and dad).

We were so sad. Mom took some pictures so you could see how beautiful it was and how sad we are now.

Isn't that sad? But we did see some beauty at Sand Creek. Isn't this the cutest little flower? 

But wait a minute, isn't winter coming? Why is this little flower blooming now? 

Shouldn't she be covering up with leaves so she doesn't freeze this winter 

when it gets below freezing? 

Well mom did want me to tell you about some Stampin' Up! News.
I know yesterday what told you all about Paper Pumpkin. She got her October Kit today 
so I'm sure she'll be relaxing and putting it together and seeing what additional cards she can make with the extra product. She said it's like getting a present every month. She's really silly about that 

Stampin' Up Stuff. 

So what can I tell you.

This is really a neat Suite coming in November. She sent out the flyer and I know you're all going to

love it. 

Here is the flyer she downloaded for me. Don't tell mom, but I did play with the dies when she went to sleep the other night. I can't wait to sow you my finished project. Later today when she's working

on Paper Pumpkin I'll finish it and have her post it tomorrow. 

I'm not sure if you missed me, but I haven't been here for about an hour. Mom and I went outside 

and sure enough, there were some pop, pop, popping and I got so scared. I've been hiding under 

the bed, but mostly not for me I do this so mom and dad are aware of the danger....because as

you all know, I can't talk English.....Heck I can't even speak French and that's where I came 

from, France. 

Well, mom says I gotta go, we have lots to do today. Stay safe and mostly remember we love you 

and send you lots of hugs.
