INGREDIENTS

·       ▢  8 cups chex cereal (divided equally)

·       ▢  1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (divided equally)

·       ▢  1 tablespoon vegetable oil (divided equally)

·       ▢  1 cup red candy melts

·       ▢  1 cup green candy melts

·       ▢  2 cups powdered sugar (divided equally)

·       ▢  2 one gallon ziplock bags

·       ▢  1 1/2 cups christmas m&ms

 (you can add more fun ingredients like nuts if you'd like.)

 INSTRUCTIONS

o   In a microwave safe bowl, combine the 1 cup of red candy melts, ¼ cup of peanut

         butter and ½ tablespoon of vegetable oil. Microwave on high for 30 second. 

         Stir and cook in 15 second intervals until melted and smooth. 

o   Meanwhile, pour 4 cups of chex cereal in a large bowl.

o   Pour the melted peanut butter and candy mixture over the cereal and quickly stir 

         to coat.

o   In a one gallon ziplock bag, pour the 1 cup powdered sugar. 

 Then pour the coated cereal into the gallon bag. Seal close and shakre to coat 

 the cereal.

o   Pour onto parchment paper lined cookie sheet and allow to cool.

o   Repeat the entire process with the green candy melts.

o   Once the red and the green puppy chow are cooled, sprinkle the Christmas 

         m&ms over the top and stir to combine the red and the green.

o   Store in an airtight container for up to a week.

And here's a great idea. How about we create a Christmas Card and nibble, nibble, nibble. 

Here is one we did earlier. 

1. Thick Basic Card Stock 5 1/2” x 6 3/8” score at 4 ¼”

2. Real Red Card Stock 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” for the inside of the card. 2” x 5 3/8” attached to the small front Thick Basic White Card Stock which is the top of the card.

3. Sweetest Christmas 12x12 Designer Series Paper 2” x 5 ¼” attached to the top of the card on the Real Red Card Stock.

4. Basic White Card Stock 4” x 5 ¼” for the inside of the card. Stamp the Paw image using Memento Tuxedo Black on the bottom of this piece. The Pearlized Black Enamel can be added to the paws, BUT it does take a while to dry. You’ll be able to see it when the card is closed. Then attach this piece to the inside Real Red Card Stock.

5. Real Red Card Stock 3 ¼” x 4 ¾” die cut the 4^th largest die from the Deckled Rectangle Dies.

6. Basic White Card Stock 3” x 4 ½” die cut the 5^th largest die from the Deckled Rectangle Dies. On this piece, stamp the image of your choice either the cat on top of the package or the Cat with the fishbowl using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. For the image I used, I used Stampin’ Blends – Old Olive, Real Red, Smoky Slate and Pool Party. I have included Pool Party Stampin’ Blends to color the water and Pale Papaya Stampin Blends to color the fish. Note: To Color the cat, use the light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend and make a small outline around the image, then using the Color Lifter, color over it and it will blend and remove the sharpness of the color.

7. Add the stamped image piece to the Real Red Deckled piece using Stampin’ Dimensionals, then add the Real Red piece to the center top portion of the card.
